Britain's Favourite Flower Revealed

When it comes to flowers, us Brits are a traditional bunch, with the results of a survey released today showing that popular classics such as roses, chrysanthemums, lilies and gerberas are the nation's favorites.

The research, conducted by a leading British floral gift specialist, said the 700 independent florists that are part of its network to spill the beans and the ten best selling flowers in their shops to mention.

While the rose was the runaway winner, representing 35 percent of sales, were revealed as other popular flowers Chrysanthemums, Lilies and Gerberas, with more exotic flowers like Anthuriums that are part of the minor places.
